No one has any idea what type of Rose will be coming back from the injury. Best case scenario, he plays hobbled but like a "Joe Johnson" type talent all-star when he comes back, and then makes a full recovery for the season after that. We definitely need to make a move for a guard.

Yeah, I'm betting Rose misses the first part of the season and is back around January.

But if we want another guard; best option is to go for a guy who can fill multiple roles and do it all. Kirk Hinrich. How ironic.

John Lucas IV will be entering the NBA draft. 5'2" but he can make full court shots at a 29%

I agree. I think it is time to bring Capt Kirk back home where he always belonged. He knows this team well and he will have no issues stepping back when Derrick is whole and healthy again.

Hinrich is another scrapper who tries hard but can't shoot the basketball worth a damn.

I'd rather have Nate Robinson than Hinrich on the Bulls, and Nate Robinson is a sideshow clown of a basketball player. But at least he hits shots.

I'd love to see Hinrich back.

January is best case scenario for Rose, in my opinion. I don't see him coming back anytime before that. It would be in the best interest for his career if he doesn't come back before that.

The Bulls need to sign someone at point guard, because even when Derrick gets back, he will be coming off the bench for sometime until he tests the knee and works into shape. I have faith in the Bulls FO, they've really done a great job the past few years. We'll be okay. But Rose will not be Rose until the 2013-2014 season...it's just how it will be and there's no debating that if you know anything about that injury. Productive? Yes, definitely. He's too much of a talent. But top notch...like I said above.
