Default Sixers fall to Knicks in NY

"I thought they were much more aggressive than us," Collins said. "I think the layoff [no game since Wednesday] hurt us a little bit. I don't think we adjusted to the speed of the game, the physicality of the game early. I'm hoping as we start playing more games we'll be better. I thought that they were a step quicker to the ball, they really move that ball well. Those threes, they string you out and it's so tough because they can go into Melo into the post, and if you double you free up threes.

"They are tough to defend and they are playing very good defense. J.R. Smith has always been a wild card off the bench. He can come in and go 0-for-12 or he can come in and get you 20 and be that lightning rod. We were within nine and he hit back-to-back threes and that made it 15 and it was sort of the game.

"Too many turnovers again for us, too many points off turnovers. Other than Jrue we've got to be much more assertive in the things we're doing offensively. The Knicks were really good today. They were good against Miami and they were good here today."
