Even had he never come to the NBA, he would have become a HOF. He was that good in Europe. He's got an incredibly impressive resume.

I'm not entirely informed of his international achievements but combined with his NBA career, he should make the HOF. Maybe not first ballot but eventually. I see Duncan and Parker as first ballots while they leave Manu hanging a bit.

I think he's in but I wouldn't call him a sure fire first ballout Hall of Famer. You have to consider he might be in the same year as Kobe, Kidd, Garnett, Duncan, Hill, Pierce, Dirk, Lisa Leslie, Chamique Holdsclaw. He will get in but its five at a time and I can think of better resume's.

nice post SSKspurs21

another factoid :

1: Manu Ginobili is averaging 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 23.3 minutes per game. The only player in NBA history to hit those levels in the same season while averaging fewer than 24 minutes is … Ginobili last season.

If the Spurs make it to the Finals and win, he comes back for sure for their shot at repeating.

If they lose, I could see him retiring. It's hard to say though because if I were in his shoes, I would continue playing until no team wants me anymore. You're getting paid to play basketball, I would do that until I couldn't anymore. If I didn't need or want the money, I would play and donate the money.

His advanced numbers are fantastic. He's definitely a player that has an impact well beyond his stats. Unfortunately, there are people out there that will look at his 12 ppg, scoff, then proclaim someone like Rudy Gay or Monta Ellis is better than him.
