Allen Iverson have a better career accomplishment than Ray Allen beside AI is a former MVP and a Multiple time Scoring Champion.
It is like comparing Clyde Drexler and Dominique Wikins to Alex English and Adrian Dantley. Both Group of players are a very versatile scoring machine but CD and DW will always be remembered as 2 of the best player in NBA History.

Uh yes they do, because when the trade was first made every one was saying why would you want a 32 year old shooting guard with two bad ankles, but If it was Iverson going to the celtics on the other hand, he would be getting alot of praise...

Who said recieving Ray Allen is a bad thing? Nobody was complaining, they were just questioning it. And they wouldn't have questioned Iverson as much, because he is fairly healthy, still durable and can play through injuries.

Ray played half the season on two bad ankles but when he saw that it was no way for seattle to make the playoffs he went and had his surgery so he would be ready for the summer...

Iverson is that little guy that an average person can relate to. He led the league in scoring and actually made the finals. People got to see him a lot over the past few years.
Ray allen (paul pierce is on the same boat) is nowhere near as good as iverson was and spent most of his aprils at home. Doesn't really get enough exposure.
And i don't really remember anyone hating on jesus.

On draft night Steven A. said that it wouldnt work, so Im just wondering why he figures that...Ray and Rashard Lewis worked for a while, so Ray and Paul should work...Paul is an upgrade to Rashard....

it will work. Pierce is way better than shard and you still have jefferson +all the other trash that they can pack for another star if they want. Not to mention that they're now playing in the east.

Nobody disses Ray, he gets a lot of love. AI is just the better player and always has been. Not to mention has the more exciting game. And has had some of his better seasons recently when he's supposed to be declining, especially due to his small frame and reckless style.
