How do you say "Ready to be unleashed!" in Spanish? Preparado unleashado? If he stays healthy and doesn't put up better numbers than Nash this season, I'm giving you a full refund for this column.

better numbers than Nash???? I don't know, I guess it's possible but that's a pretty damn tall order, especially since he's all but guaranteeing it.

Nash is going to get his minutes cut in Phoenix but Jose is not going to be better than Nash.

Nash will be playing in a new system in Phoenix (not as run and gun) so I can see his numbers taking a dip.

As for Calderon. I hope it's true, I have him on all of my fantasy teams!

The sky's the limit for Jose this year, All his numbers will go up once the real games start.

I can definitly see him putting up better #'s then Nash.

last year

Nash 34min-17PPG-11Ass

Jose 30min-11PPG-8Ass

Nash might not get those kind of #s in a somewhat slower system. But Jose's are defintly going up. I also can see Nash playing less min this year. Jose is likely going to see 35 min per.

I'm never gonna buy that slower system crap. I know Porter isn't the same as D'antoni, but you can't make a successful half court team without half court players. With the exception of Shaq who is way out his prime, the rest of the players were guys who thrived in that system. So, I feel that they are still gonna end up implementing run and gun after slow it down basketball is unsuccessful. That is, unless Amare develops some sort of back to the basket game.

Their system will be similar to us with the high-low post players and shooters up the ying yang, so it would be a pretty fair gauge to see how jose does compared to nash, even though im really not a fan of comparing players. Nonetheless, i think it will be an interesting storyline to follow loosely
