Well I don't really know how many people come in here, but i came to look for like a game thread, discussion thread, something. So when there was nothing, I decided to make this. Come here to just talk timberwolves.
To start things off, I thought Corey Brewer actually looked pretty good. And I was one of his biggest critics. Sure he only scored 8 or 9 points, and he did get out of control while driving to the hoop a few times, but he seemed more alert on defense. I also was surprised by his speed, I guess I forgot how fast he was. I honestly think he will do pretty good this year. Also Love obviously had a strong first game, seemed like he was getting a little over hyped, if you heard how much attention he was getting. I did love his hustle, no pun intended , I promise.

We have a small fan base. Anyway, we looked pretty good overall. K-Love looked good out there. Miller is going to be huge!! I am so glad that we picked him up. And my boy, CB22. Good game overall. I will see how he does against the Mavs tonight.
Well I don't know if I'd call them towers lol, both 6'10 or under. But i think they will be pretty good eventually. Miller will be good, i was hoping to see him take more jumshots though. But our defense struggled as a whole against the mavericks, hopefully we can get a win today against the thunder.
I think we could beat the Thunder by twenty. I hope Mike Miller's range comes around, it's really hurting us when he can't hit those wide open three's. He also seems to give the ball up a little too much. There's times where he has a wide open three but he gives it up and I would really like him to take those shots given that he's a great shooter.
How did we lose to the Thunder? Fill me in. I didn't realize it was today, missed that part. Damn work. I just looked at the box score and it almost looks like it's Foye's fault, 0/10? What?
Yeah, I couldn't imagine unless Foye turns out to be another bench player along with Corey and Love. I don't see that happening. Telfair returns next game, so that should help a lot with running our offense.
I highly doubt Seb will start though. I'm not saying this is for sure, but I have been thinking lately and I think Foye will turn out just like Jackson ( horrible QB with the vikings). Our staff has been trying to hard to make him a pg, and don't understand that he is a 2 guard! Hopefully he will start to get better at the point, but it seems like Wittman doesn't even trust him. Late into the first game Ollie was in until there was 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter! I wouldn't mind having Telfair start and have Randy and Rashad come off the bench.
Is anybody watching the game right now? This is seriously THE worst officiating I've seen in long time. All these fouls taken away from Love, the turnovers, traveling, its brutal. But its been a fun game to watch otherwise. Parker as been amazing. Telfair has played very well. Mike Miller has been on fire, Big Al is something like 22 and 13, Love is something like 14 and 7 with 4 blocks!
edit: by fouls taken away from Love I mean he like gets fouled but it gets taken away and the wolves just get a new 24. Wasn't sure how clear i was being.

Man what a great game! TO MUCH TONY! what did you guys think of it? I am pleased with what the wolves did. Any other team in this same situation ( besides lakers, rockets, celtics, hornets, maybe a couple other teams lol) i think we could have pulled it off. BUT PARKER HAD 55! insane!
