I have grown up a Pistons fan and I'd like to extend hospitality and fellowship to fans of a very exciting player who has joined the team, Allen Iverson.
As we know, AI is in the final year of his current contract and will be free to go anywhere he chooses at the conclusion of this season.
but in the meantime for the 08/09 season he will suit up for the Pistons.
Lets hope Iverson is the Answer to a championship! A great thing it will be to see AI and the Pistons return to the NBA Finals… together!
well my fav team is lakers(and always will be) but i alway's had a soft spot for detroit, cuz my dad always loved them, and still does....so i am a laker/piston fan, even if it may seem as if im not, for i never post 'bout them on this board.
Im a true blue iverson fan, love him to death. Finally, hes ending hes career soon( 33 years old ) and I just like the chances of Detroit winning in the East. Besides the Celtics, the Pistons looks like the next best team and definetly has a legitimate chance of winning a championship this year, iverson would be the x factor.
I expect him to give his best, hes definetly going to improve his teamwork and defense now hes with Detroit. On the offensive end, expect him to explode.

i would have always thought we could have won another championship with billups but i think iverson is possibly what the team needs to wake up and possibly go for it rather than losing it just before the final
