Default Vince Carter?

Would you consider re-signing him even after everything that's happened in the past? He's exactly what this team needs at the moment and I don't think anyone can deny that. This situation can actually be compared to what Curtis Joseph did this season with the leafs, and it seems most of them got over what he did. I know this is extremely unlikely, but I personally would love to this happen.

If only Vince didn't leave the season before Bosh became a superstar. We'd have something really special right now.

Vince is nothing like what Curtis Joseph.

Cujo never quit on the Leafs. He simply left as a free agent.

Vince quit on an entire organiztion and an entire fanbase.

Vince is a whiner, and a quitter who was openly critical of management for picking Bosh in the draft.. Even though i'm sure he'd help us (even though it's unrealistic that we'd be able to get him) I personally wouldn't want him back nor would I welcome him back.

I would. (consider trading for him that is)

Carter is a piss poor leader and when the tough gets going, he bails. But add him to this Toronto team and he won't be relied on any veteran leadership plus the team will be really really good so I don't think we'll see him quitting on the team. A player like Carter is almost the perfect fit for Toronto in it's search for a very good wing player. He can score, create his own shot, is a solid playmaker for others and would be that secondary playmaker in the starting lineup, is fairly average on D but not bad and he has a decent contract for a player of his caliber with only 2 guaranteed years after this season.

Of course this won't happen but still, I'd take him back solely based on the fact that I think the Raptors would be legit East and title contenders by adding Vince (and obviously not subtracting Bosh, O'Neal or Calderon). The Raptors have nothing NJ would accept back in a trade. NJ already has solid young frontcourt and a very good young PG.

Vince is like the Retarded cousin who pisses you off all the time......

But you always forgive him. cause he's retarded.

Id take him back at this point, solely because he is exactly what we need right now.

If the Raptors took him back I would give up on basketball entirely. He is a worthless betrayer, a *****, and completely characterless human being. I would rather the Raps go 0-82 before they let him sweep the floor of the gym. **** that guy.
