Default Let's Hear Offers for Kaman/Camby

This thread is all about trade offers for Kaman/Camby- both for our own fans to bat around and for fans of other teams to ue as a tool.

After the Randolph-Collins trade, the situation changes a little bit. Therefore, post your offers here and we'll let you know what we think. Constructive criticism please, unless it's catastrophically stupid in which case feel free to rip their head off.

Warriors get:
Marcus Camby
Brian Skinner

Clipps get:
Kelenna Azubuike
Ronny Turiaf
Marco Belleneli

WHY IT COULD WORK FOR THE CLIPPS:
This too helps restore balance to their roster. Azubuike is a quality 2G who can be counted on for 15ppg. He would help the Clipps as Gordon develops into a consistent scorer. Turiaf is a good big man to bring off the bench. Bellenelli adds depth to the bench.
CLIPPS LINE-UP:
PG-Davis/Taylor/Collins
SG-Gordon/Azubuike/Bellenelli
SF-Thornton/Novak
PF-Randolph/Turiaf
C-Kaman/P Davis/Jordan

Kaman for V. Carter. Why the hell not? At least it'll be fun to watch.

Well i can understand how Vinsanity wont do any good...but then again...the lineup is pretty solid.

Camby can put up 10 and 10...Randolph can put up 18 and 10
Baron can put up 20 and 10asst...Thornton is turning out into a nice player...
Im not sure if Eric Gordan can turn into a Superstar like VC...

I think VC is a top 5 SG...after Kobe,Wade,Tmac,Ginobli.

The reason the clips dont fare well is not cause of the players but i feel its the coach...Dunleavy has proven nothing soo far...

I think what the clips need is a defensive minded coach....Avery Johnson anyone?

I'll conceed that Johnson has about 3-5 years before the team tunes him out...but he does bring winning ways and a can do attitude....if not johnson i suggest Flip saunders...

Considering the Thunder and wizards have fired their head coaches i guess the Clips need to act fast to grab one of these two guys who have been to the NBA Finals...

Also the clips need to improve their bench so as to go atleast 10 man deep....

What randolph lack camby can make up for and what camby lacks randolph can make up for...all they need now is a tough love coach...and discipline to follow their alpha male...if thats Davis then follow his lead...if its VC (if a trade goes down) then so be it...

Time to work the lines.

Dunleavy IS a defensive minded coach. Other than Daniel Ewing on Raja Bell in 06, he has been solid. This year we are giving up alot of pts but part of that is due to guys like Anthony Morrow and Roger Mason lighting up Ricky Davis. Our perimeter defense has been bad but our interior defense is exceptional. Its not his defense, but his offensive playbook that I truely question.

linas kleiza, chucky atkins, and steven hunter along with 2 future firsts for chris kaman?

kleiza is a good young 3, atkins and hunter come off the books in time for the 2010 free agent frenzy and the firsts will help.

Interested in Shawn Marion?

He is a big expirer and could allow for a huge signing in the next season.

Last i heard the Bobcats were offering Jason Richardson for Kaman....

Doesnt sound like a bad deal to me...

Bobcats get their Center...and Clips get their Guard

Bobcats - DJ Agustin, Felton, Wallace, Okafor, Kaman

Clippers - Camby, Randolph, Thornton, J-Rich, B-Diddy

Not the greatest of lineups for both teams but if the clips can improve their bench and get hold of some talent...Such as sean williams from NJ and Marcus Williams from Golden State...the Bench will look good too...

Eric Gordan, De andre Jordan, Sean Williams, Ricky Davis, marcus Williams....thats 10 man deep...and with talent...doesnt look bad....

Only bad bit is...if the clips plan on improving they need to do this fast...as teams out west have started to get competetive and stronger.

Charlotte starts 2 PGs, 2 Cs, and a hybrid forward...

It's a crazy idea I came up with for the hell of it...

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...5~12&te=&cash=

Involves a few rumors I've heard since the season started

NY- Get Sasha Pavlovic and Wally S, and unload Curry, and have Wally's expiring.

LAC- get J-Rich, not sure how the Clipper fans liked the idea of J-Rich

CLE- get Camby and Malik Rose

CHA- Get Curry, 2 2nd rounders via CLE and NY. (gets the least of all teams, but if they really wanted Curry, here they are)

I have to ask, what do you really want as a Clipper fan? You have Center, PF, PG, SF and a young SG all covered.

Do you want someone else for a win now type team, or more future type deals with picks and youth?

Cleveland can't really offer much themselves to any team other than a big expiring, and I know LA doesn't need that.

Well actually Agustin and Felton have played well as a back court...brown sees felton as a SG more than a PG...

kaman is a C and Okafor is a PF...he cant play the C position...
Wallace is a SF...i know this lineup sucks...but if they do trade for kaman thats how its gonna be.
