Default PF and PG strategy.

Do you follow this strategy when drafting? Like Berry from ESPN. It's usually in the back of my mind when I draft, but then I begin to sway away as I grab SF that get all around stats. So, here's my team. I originally drafted Brook Lopez (PF,C)...Should I drop Pietrus for him? Or Duhon is available too, if I want to go with a PG.

My team is losing 4-5 every week and I need to do something before it's too late to get out of 9th place (10 team, H2H league, standard cats.)

Here's my team:
PG: Baron Davis
SG: Terry
G Manu Ginobilli
SF: Hedo
PF: Gerald Wallace
F: Marion
C: Bynum
UTIL: Ilgauskas
UTIL:Nate Robinson

Bench: Hawes
Bench: Pietrus
Bench: David Lee

I am not a Mod and it doesn't really matter to me, but you have a ton of threads basically asking the same thing about your team.

I'll stick by my previous comments, tank FG%, bds and maybe blks. Duhon should have been on your team over Pietrus a long time ago.

You need to start offering up tons of deals to try and focus on pts, FT%, dimes, stls, 3s and Turnovers.

I got Duhon, so now I'll try throwing out some trades. I'm going to try for Dirk again.

Now is the time to make some offers with Lee in it. Shoot higher after last night's game. Remember that your team is bad in bds and FG%.....so as great as Lee was, he's not really helping you.

Are you sure you're not overpaying in those deals? depends on your FA list I guess? maybe add that guys worst players and it might make it easier to analyze.

Maybe I can do a 2 for 2 or 3 for 2?

Here's his team:

PG Mo Williams
SG Josh Howard
G Paul Pierce
SF Travis Outlaw
PF Dirk Nowitzki
F Richard Jefferson
C Kendrick Perkins
PF Kenyon Martin
PF/C Al Harrington
SF Peja Stojakovic
PG Allen Iverson
C Chris Kaman
SF Tayshaun Prince

I think you're overpaying in most of those. Dealing Baron and Marion don't make much sense, Baron especially. Marion's low TOs and stls from a PF are nice for you also. Duhon should not be moved at all.

The Dirk owner has bad bigs and Kaman is hurt. I would be going with Bynum and Lee for Dirk and see if they bite, making a comment about their lack of quality bigs and Kaman's injury as a reason for your offer. Peja would also be a guy to go after as he'll help in 3's, low TOs, great FT% (but small volume). You could include Z and Peja in a 3 for 2, but Z might not be the worst guy to keep because he's decent pts, great FT% and low TOs for a C...even ok dimes for a C. However, I'd still offer him if it meant Dirk.

I'll try Bynum and Lee...we'll see. Thanks.
