A thread in the NBA forum made me start thinking. After this season ends, 2 top players come off the books, Boozer, and Iverson. If we trade, Swift, Sean, Ager, and Williams for a cheap salary player, the Nets stop themseves from paying 13 million. The Nets are already 8 million under the cap, which means they have 21 million for Boozer, and Iverson. We can sign them for 1 year only Boozer for 13 million, Iverson for 8 million. What do you Nets fas think.
EDIT: We may not need to trade Swift, his contract ends next year anyways.

As much as I love Iverson, we don't need him. We already have enough combo guards (Devin, Vince, and Keyon). We need more low post scoring. Boozer? Maybe, but I wouldn't make a trade just yet.

We don't need to make a trade he becomes a FA next year.
Boozer seems to be a nice choice for our PF spot but I don't think Iverson fits in our team at all. We already have two ball-handler and now you add another? Can't imagine how a coach will run this team well...
Would love Boozer on the PF spot. I've heard he isn't the defensive power he could be, but still a big and tough player under the basket. Will help our rebounding improve. I say it's a great idea since I believe that LeBron will be a Cavalier till the end of his career.
i don't think either of these will happen but Boozer would provide us with a strong front court atop Lopez's progression. AI doesn't make sense at all for the same reasons The Nets posted above.
iverson is a terrible fit with devin harris and vc, no need for him on this nets team. boozer would be a great addition, but the nets want to clear out as much room as possible for 2010, and would boozer really sign a one year deal?
