Default David West for Joe Johnson OR

So I just got two trade offers today for Joe Johnson.

1 for 1: D west for Joe Johnson
or
2 for 1: Gooden and Jason Terry for Joe Johnson

My team currently is 3-1-0 when it comes to FT%,3ptm, PTs, Rebounds, and Blocks. Assists, Stls and FG% are close, but I'm 1-3-0 in those three categories. I completely tank TO's.

I don't like the thought of giving up Joe Johnson for some reason, but I'm thinking about solidifying my roster. Would you take either trade or try to bolster the trade?

My team:
Joe Johnson
Derrick Rose
Rudy Fenandez
Randy Foye
Travis Outlaws
Marvin Williams
Rasheed
Al Horford
Marc Gasol
Danny Granger
Caron Butler
Luc Richard
Darrell Arthur

His Team:
CP3
Jason Terry
D.J. Augustin
Ron Artest
D West
Zach Randolph
Mehmet Okur
Drew Gooden
Rafer Alston
Rodney Stuckey
Spencer Hawes
Jeff Green
Tyson Chandler

I think I would take Terry and Gooden, since Arthur isn't doing much of anything lately and can be dropped.

I think you should just stay where you are. IMO you lose on both deals. JJ is the leader of the Hawks team. As the Hawks continue winning, JJ produces and I think the Hawks would win a lot this year. Wait for a better offer for JJ or just stay put.

Unless I'm the guy getting JJ, no.

I just went ahead and did the terry/gooden deal. I don't know why I gave him up so easy but hoping everything to go my way:

1) Josh Howard doesn't impact terry too much
2) Gooden keeps up his inflated numbers or somewhere around it
3) JJ breaks his foot

emphasis on 3.

Why bank on all of those things happening when you could've just stayed put and had no need to hope or pray for/against something? JJ has been WAY too dominant to give away for so little.

In one of my leagues I traded JJ for Pau Gasol and am kind of regretting it. JJ for Gooden and Terry?...yeech!

It's a disgusting trade, but I'm also in a 12 owner / 13 player league where the talent gets really thin. I think reading news about JJ's foot + seeing Gooden play that day and getting 18pts/12boards by the half made me press accept automatically. Oh well. Speaking as an Ex-Joe Johnson owner, don't make impulse trades or you may lose 10 dollars.

I dunno guys, I still think you did pretty well, in H2H after all, even after factoring in the guy you dropped, I think you won in every category...joe johnson will drop a bit with josh smith back, but I think the other guys have a good chance at staying at their current level...so as long as you have a good enough variation of positions and can play every guy every game, which it looks like you do, I think you did alright...
