We get rid of Sean Williams who isn't for us.
Josh Boone because we have Brook Lopez and we don't need him.
Stro Swift same reason cause of Williams.
Hassell just a filler.
We get:
Hughes whose a good starter and we can move him to SF.
And Sefelosha whose a great player off the bench whom the Bulls dont even use.
Re: Nets need a good SF to compete for a guarranteed playoff spot.
I feel like a second-tier no-namer type like Maurice Evans, or even Marcus Williams from the Cardinals would appropriately for a chance to progress.
I'm still awaiting the development of Joshua Boone. He was no stiff in College, and I feel as lowly as the duet of Williams and Boone may seem now, the future is bright like the mind of a Mensa.
Re: Nets need a good SF to compete for a guarranteed playoff spot.
what evidence do you have that larry hughes would make a good three?
based on his skills i could see him as being the first guard alternate, taking a lot of minutes away from dooling, but no way do you pay a guy $12 million as a backup. not even ginobli makes that much.

Martin has a huge contract, not sure if you would like to take that baggage, plus this guy has abandoned this team didn't He?
I like the Mo Evans idea.

I don't like Hughes because he is more natural playing in the backcourt PLUS he has a huge contract that will lessen their versatility for futue free agents, also he is injury prone.
Why not Andres Nocioni? This guy is tough, has a decent perimeter game, has a high salary tho.
Or they can also trade for a decent SG and more Carter to SF, Sefalosha is not a bad idea.
Re: Nets need a good SF to compete for a guarranteed playoff spot.
How about getting Shawn Marion from the Heat? He has a expiring contract and plus the Nets can probably trade Sean Williams and a couple of feelers to match their salaries.
Re: Nets need a good SF to compete for a guarranteed playoff spot.
marion needs a fastbreak / open court system to excel. plus his skills are on the decline, his contract is overpaid and he's a headcase who thinks he's a lot better of a player than he actually is.

Thats a good look, Nets should pursue Marion, he's a beast, Ill take em. Give him a real chance to shine in jersey. The Heat hasnt shown him justice as of yet.
