Default A Bargnani Glimpse.

I figured out Andrea. He is a center and should be forced to play that way from here on forward. He sucked so bad the last few games because he is a confused young soul. Yet when Jermaine went down against Oklahoma, Andrea was forced to play in the paint and all of the sudden he just lit it up. He seemed to know exactly what to do every time he had the ball. He went from slump to hot in the bat of an eyelash. When he gets the ball at the 3pt arc he becomes a man of total indecision, he is forced to gain his confidence from hitting threes or trying to drive all the way to the basket from 22 feet out. He hit a couple of nice in the block moves early in the second half and his whole game just took off. Than he went outside and woala hit a three. Sure he missed later, but trying to develop precious confidence in the NBA by allways playing at that line is a lose lose proposition. He will be the center of our future and a darn good one!

this happens every 5 games. he'll average 6 points 4 rebounds for those games too then have a great night. it happens at all positions and lets remember this was against OKC, oh wait they **** they beat us.

The problem with Bargnani is he is mentally weak and therefore a streaky player. He needs to be in for long stretches to make a good impact. Like when he was starting at the 3 he got quality minutes and had a lot of very good games earlier this season.

Ha ha, what a lost individual. I sometimes even think he would just prefer to be a Shooting Guard.

Bargnani has very really low athleticsm, and a relatively low BBall IQ..

He's best at PF IMO

Tell you the truth, he has been most productive this year at the SF position .... that is when he got like 20PPG+ in that 3 game stretch ..... and if you actually watch this length gives most small forwards trouble especially when he closes out on there shots ........

Having him play PF and C doesn't do anything .... it hurts us EVEN MORE because he will stay on the perimeter and shot those 3 point shots and WE HAVE NO ONE REBOUNDING DOWN LOW FOR OFFENSE REBOUNDS!

Thats the whole point, he should not be allowed to hang at the 3 point line, he should only go there as part of a pick after playing center deeper in the post first. We don't need him hitting 3's, you've got Parker, Calderon and Kapono to do that. Those 3 can't play inside like Andrea can. He should only attempt 3's if the game absolutley warrants it, otherwise it just mentally messes his whole game up.

Ya but he sucks in the post ..... his ONLY strength is his decent jump shot being 7ft doesn't help in his case for rebounding .......

Right now he is incompetent at all 3 positions. The only reason he isn't racking up DNP-CD's is his status as a #1 pick.

It doesn't matter what position you play, you are still expected to take good shots, make them, box out and put in an effort on defense. These simple things don't change whether you are a PG or a C.

If this is Bargnani's ceiling he could be headed back to Europe in 4-5 years for more money and playing time.

The only reason he is getting the numbers he is, is because of the playing time he gets. If those guys like Tshkitisvili (huge spelling error) played the minutes Bargnani did they might have similar numbers.

THat's why it's vital that we get rid of him before that happens. It's obvious that he'll never develop into anything, at least not on our team playing behind Bosh. And then some Euro-team will offer him big money that we will not want to match (unless Colangelo's man crush blinds him that much) and we will be left with nothing. Either that or when his contract's up we end up overpaying and being stuck with a dud.

Agreed. I was reppin Bargnani hard. Figured his potential will lead us to greater pastures down the road. Although lately I have been fed up with his play and the play of the team and I am eagerly awaiting some sort of Bargnani, Kapono or Parker and Pick package to get us some athleticism at the wings. I know it's hard to trade these players because of inconsistency, lack of skill etc., although I'm praying that rumor for Maggette and Wright is true and GSW bites that offer.

P.S His name is Nikoloz Tskitishvilli, and yes, he would put up similar numbers to Bargnani given the minutes IMO.

Yeah at least Jake helped out threw some bodies around and got some rebounds. That's far more than anything Andrea has done over the last month or so. Time to trade him if we can realtive value for him...even slightly under.
