Default The Spirit

Just saw this film today. I haven't read the comic, but I do like Frank Miller's work translated into film with 300 and Sin City. Anyway, I forgot just how hot Eva Mendez is, and wow...just...

...and the girl that plays her character as a again...

...anyway, I loved the humor and the characters, especially Octopus. What's not to like about Sam Jackson in a Nazi uniform?

You know, I don't think it deserves such a bad rap.

It was quirky and silly at some points, but that's just what the story was supposed to be. The cinematography was pretty well done. Sin-City-esque.

It's not the greatest comic book film, but it was better than I thought it would be.

just got back from seeing this.

i dont give this out easily so please do not think i am exagerating, i have this at no.3 on the alltime worst films i have ever seen at the cinema(the hottie and the nottie and disaster movie being 1 and 2).....i cannot fully describe to you how bad this film is, you must see it for yourself to understand, honestly im speechless and cant even find the words to convey it to you all right now. every single man women and child that are even associated with anyone who had anything to do with the making of the spirit should be executed for crimes against cinema....
many people left the cinema half way through- and they were pretty young people who fit into the audience this film is aiming for, every single actor with the exception of samuel l jackson gives a career worst performance. i cannot even begin to scratch the surface of how badly made it is technically.
it is jaw dropingly bad.
