Big Love - HBO Series
Anyone here a fan of Big Love? Opinions? If you've tried to get into it, but just couldn't, etc. What have you heard about it? Do you think you'd enjoy / hate it considering what you know about the show without actually seeing what it's all about?
After finishing TrueBlood, my girl and I decided to check out Big Love. After the first couple episodes, we thought it was decent at best and didn't expect much more but we decided to keep watching nonetheless. Now we've finished all of season one and two (thanks to HBO on Demand), and we can't wait to see season three which starts Jan. 18th.
IMO, great show. Nothing really groundbreaking or exceptional (like The Wire or first season of TrueBlood that everyone's talking about), but simply a very good well deserving of your time show. It's not for everyone, like TrueBlood isn't for everyone, but I'd recommend trying to get into it if you haven't tried already.
