Default MJ looking at making a return to the NBA

At the age of 45 Michael Jordan was quoted today in a local newspaper stating that he would be interested in returning to the NBA next season and would sell his stake as co-owner of the Bobcats to play for another team. When asked what team he would play for he listed his top 3 teams in the East. Boston(title contender), Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors as potential fits for him. Obviously BC's relationship with MJ has made a strong impact on his decision leaving Toronto as a solid conteder to use the services of a world class athlete.

HOW AWESOME WOULD THIS BE IF WE GOT MJ NEXT SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!! Ya he is 45 but we are talking about the best bball player to ever play the game. AND if you have seen him practice with the Bobcats you can tell he's still got mad game. He was schooling everyone on the team!!!

interesting news..

but i am not that optimistic because:

a) chance of happening appears low, he will probably sign with Boston or Cleveland

b) he is old.. much less athletic, as witnessed when he was with wizards

I would take 45 year old MJ over 27 year old Jason Kapono, i'll tell you that much. Not that think there's even a 1% chance of this happening but could you imagine what it would do for the city of Toronto if the greatest basketball player to ever live joined our team? Even 45 year old MJ would demand sellout crowds night in and night out.

He scored a season high 50+points with the wiz and average 22.0 ppg. The guy can play regardless of age as seen with Washington

How did they form a relationship? Never associated with the same team.

Many people consider Bill Russell the best defensive centre of all time. Don't know if he has it at ??70?? or whatever age he is.

Probably the only thing that interests Jordan in Toronto are the nightclubs and wide variety of women of different ethnic backgrounds.

Why would MJ go to the Raptors? How is he associated with BC? This is retarded.
