Six weeks ago, the Los Angeles Clippers gave the Minnesota Timberwolves a thumping, and as a result, the Wolves seem to have changed their season around, now winning seven of the past eight games, including four in a row on the road.
Minnesota started the game with 26-16 lead after the opening quarter and didn't let up, taking a 94-86 victory Monday afternoon. Center Al Jefferson led the way, scoring 20 points to go alongside his season high tying 17 rebounds. Craig Smith was able to chip in with 20 points and 8 rebounds himself as the Wolves continue with their recent success.
Not surprised that we lost since Camby is out as well. Nice to see the game was close though. Novak played very well first half and I liked what I saw from DeAndre Jordan. Only wish is that Mike Taylor was healthy so we could develop him as well.
I cant wait to see how Rubio does in the NBA.. but the clipps are loaded at the PG position with Davis, Hart, and Taylor..
Assuming that Davis stays the whole sum of his contract..
Blake Griffin is also a beast but we already have Camby Kaman and Zbo The one guy that I really like right now is Terrence Williams from Louisville. The guy is shooting up the draft charts and has elevated his play to another level. Jodie Meeks I wouldn't take that high but hes another guy who has exploded after 2 subpar years.
