$72 million to Deng...Is it true?

No doubting Deng has talent, but I don't think he'd be commanding $72 million unless he had a breakout season, which might happen this year.

Paxson will let him become a restriced FA and then see what his market value is and pay it, thats his style. I love Deng but 72 mill is out of the question just right now, one day he may be worth that much tho.

I also don't see Deng getting $72 Million. The only person that deserves that would be Michael Jordan or any big name player we got that helped us get to the Championship (then again maybe not).

I agree about waiting to see what Josh Howard gets and go from there. But I believe that Pax and Luol's agent might get something done before the season is over and still have enough for Kirk, Andres and B-Jizzle (thank you Scott Skiles) to sign them.
