Default Chris Mihm a Grizzly!

Quote:
PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Grizzlies have traded a conditional second-round pick in 2013 to the Los Angeles Lakers for Chris Mihm and cash considerations, an NBA source confirmed Wednesday afternoon.

The deal is expected to be announced this evening or tomorrow morning.

Mihm's $2.5 contract expires after this season.

The Grizzlies are likely to consummate one or two more financial-related trades between now and the league's trade deadline Thursday at 2 p.m.

I'm just curious to know what we will do with all of this cap space.

Well, Hadadi's dreams of playing more than 48 minutes for the entire season have gone right down the drain. There really is no point in recalling him from the D-League now.

Probably not. Unless Darko get's injured again or Gasol goes down.

Talking Re: Chris Mihm a Grizzly!

The Grizzlies are still a young team...Talent loaded with Gay,OJ,Conley, and Gasol...give this core 3 years together and they will be on a tear...all you guys need is a PF who can defend and put up 10ppg and you guys are instant contenders...

up and coming teams in the next 5 years

O.K.C
Memphis
Portland

chris mihm IS pretty tight. good pick up. financially and rosterwise.

NOT CONTENDERS
okc made some decent moves on the deadline. and the emergence of westbrook has been a bonus but clay bennet seriously gutted this team... durant will bounce before they are contenders.

and i would hardly say that the grizz are 1player away from being contenders.
is the talent there? yes
is the chemistry? not really
the coaching? definately not
when damon stoudemire is an assistant coach it really makes me wonder
<<damon darrell and darius the doobie brothers

portland maybe. barring injury or dumb trade.

every deal the grizzlies has made with the lakers was about clearing cap space, you'll see in the next couple years.

young talent + poor coaching = the clippers

cap space doesn't make you better. it only makes your franchise viable
the grizz no doubt have talented players. but without the coaching they'll never be a playoff team let alone contenders.
