Writing Companies

I had some down time and I decided I'd write a couple companies while I was bored. So far they've all gotten back to me within 48 hours and all have offered free food. I'm surprised more people don't do this. Unethical? Perhaps.

Here is a sample of one of the responses I received.

I just wanted to take a moment again to personally apologize to you on behalf of California Pizza Kitchen for the unpleasant dine in experience at our Van Ness location. I appreciate your taking the time to write the details of the problem through our system.



Although we try very hard to ensure that each guest’s experience is the best it can be, it is the invaluable feedback from guests like you that allows us to identify and correct problems as they occur – hopefully never to occur again.



In an effort to provide you with a pleasant dining experience the next time you dine with us, I am mailing you (one) Be Our Guest Card for you to enjoy, which may be used for dining in or take-out at any of our California Pizza Kitchen locations.

It's a one time thing for a big company, and I guarantee even though you didn't have a legit gripe, you'll remember how cooperative the manager was. Business 101.

you need to complain to the joint that gave you food poisoning. that, or sue the f*ck outta them.

My friend used to do this and there was a playground rumour that an older kid got a weeks worth of coke once.

Anyways, my friend was getting food constantly but my only problem was that I didn't know how to write a letter that caters to them. I feel like I would write something and they would read it like "The fuck? What's the point of this?" *Throws in trash* because it wasn't written well/realistically enough.

me and my boy wrote bugles before cause we cant put them on our fingers and simulate the claws of a fierce animal anymore because they all come bent in and **** they just gave us coupons.

i tried to do something like this back in high school. one of my friend's buddies said he wrote to sony asking about the playstation 2 before it came out, like specs or something but that because it was fairly secretive they couldn't give him any information but instead sent him a free playstation

i tried to do the same thing by sending them a letter asking for some information regarding the playstation 2 and how it works. it didn't work out like i planned though cause they actually sent me a whole packet of information about the playstation 2.
