Default Silent Hill: Homecoming

Literally just finished this game on 360... BADASS game, and the best part is the alternate endings.

It's a cool game but it takes a lot of effort to finish the game.

Haha, yeah mayne, I play from time to time. I usually have work/school, but I rented this game bout a week back and just finished it the other night.

Didn't take that much effort, IMO... It was a good game. The alternate endings kicked ass.

Try playing F.E.A.R. in the dark. I swear, in the first or second level you have to go trhu a basement, which is sooo dark. Youre flashlight won't stay on long and you have to go across the room. You hear your own footsteps in the water (there's water in the basement) and all of a sudden you hear a little girl giggling (sp?). You also see something running to the other side of the room, which is later revealed as Alma. I swear, I saw many horror movies, with guys slashing the guts out of someones belly, but I never thought a little girl in a red dress would scare me THAT much!

I didn't find FEAR all that scary. Too predictable. Too many similar areas.

Catz, my friend has it and I played it recently at his house.

I don't know much about the storyline but in teh beginning.. the dream part when he's in the asylum, his lil bro runs away from main character.

Also the mother shows mad affection to the kid, but not the older brother. Why is this?

The main character, Alex, is an outcast because his family used to be part of a cult, where they sacrifice their children. Alex's family stopped doing it when he was born, and hided it from the rest of the cult, thus causing them a lot of grief since it was forever a secret, hence them (mom and dad) not liking Alex.

Weak combat system; predictable story; simple-minded puzzles; infrequent save points.
