SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea threatened Wednesday to conduct nuclear and missile tests and start an uranium-enrichment program in addition to its existing plutonium-based one, unless the U.N. apologizes for criticizing its recent rocket launch, dramatically raising its stake in the worsening standoff over its atomic programs.
Pyongyang's Foreign Ministry said in a statement the country "will be compelled to take additional self-defensive measures" unless the U.N. Security Council apologizes immediately. "The measures will include nuclear tests and test-firings of intercontinental ballistic missiles."
So here we have North Korea, that probably does in fact possess WMDs, is threatening to use them, defies the United Nations and even demands an apology from them... and has recently tested long range missiles over Japan... But what are we doing about it?
and then you have Iraq. No WMDs, wasn't threatening anybody (except it's own citizens), and got invaded without hesitation.
So if my calculations are correct... We can expect military action against North Korea.

Re: North Korea is talking $h!t again... Demands apology from UN or they will test nukes
Yeah there is oil there. The South China Sea is said to be coveting the largest deposit of crude oil in the world. Once technology in off shore drilling advances and China realizes the potential we will diffinetly make a move to fortify a position near the action, and here is our first candidate.

North Korea has just as much of a right to have WMD's as we do. As the country with the most WMD's period, it's hypocritical to say another can’t have them as well.
