After a long and hard fought 7 game series against the Rockets, the Lakers look to stay consistent against a Nuggets team that is much better than the one LA swept in the playoffs last year.



If the Lakers can play defense like they did in games 5 and 7 of the Houston series, this could be a quick one, but this team has yet to show that they can put anybody away easily, so fan should expect a 6 or 7 game series.



Will Lamar Odom’s back be an issue? Has he fully recovered? LA will need Lamar to be at his best in this series.



Andrew Bynum needs to be more consistent and do his job, stay our of foul trouble, rebound, block shots and get garbage points under the basket.

This is going to be a good series IMO. Lakers can prove themselves tomorrow night. They need to take game 1 can't drop it and play like sh*t like they did against the Rockets.

I am hoping the Rockets series made them tougher. Hope they know they need to play with defensive intensity all the time. That's is exactly where all our games the last series have been won or lost. Let's hope this team has progressed and learned their lesson. I am still pisst about that game 6 lost man. This team can not do that in the next two rounds...comp is only getting tougher. And as talented as the Lakers are anything less then a title would be an epic fail.

Hope our boys got their sh*t together. Let's put these Nuggets in their place and make C-Webb, Chuck, and BSPN's Legler and Holleinger (f*cking Laker haters) eat their words!!!!

Lets hope they show up on the defensive side of the floor each and every game in this series, because they shouldn't have that much trouble if they do. Could be a nightmare of a series if they take Denver too lightly though. Denver is a team that is playing extremely well right now, they are peaking in the playoffs. Their defense is much improved this year, not to mention their poise under their new general, Billups.

I think the lakers can smell a return back to the finals and I beleive thats the X factor the lakers been waiting on...Guys watch how everybody shots start falling against Denver....

Yeah, I heard him on ESPN today predicting that Denver will "take care of business" and finish off the Lakers in 6 or 7 games.

Lost game 1 vs Houston. Still alive and kicking. It would be a serious setback, but would not be any kind of death sentence to be sure.

Game 1 should be interesting, Phil & Co. have had no time to prepare for the Nuggets and it could come back to haunt us.

Laker only had one day of rest and the Nuggets a couple...I am hoping they are rusty and the Lakers are well prepared. Loved the fact we have homecourt. WILL THE REAL LAKERS PLEASE STAND UP TOMORROW AND FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!!
