Default Official Legendary Tips4 2009 NBA Mock Draf-Lottery Picks.

The best part of Nba after NBA Finals is close and its time to predict and try to make sense of each of the draft picks in the lottery. We have a weak draft this year but we will still get talent out of this draft that we never expected to get. Suprises are the best part of the NBA Draft. Does your team draft based on need ? Potential and the Hype on players ? Best talent available ? Or the most nba ready player ? Here we go :

L.A Clippers-1st Overall-PF- Blake Griffin 20 years old; 6'10"; 251 lbs.

We have a no-brainer for a 1st pick for the first time since the Lebron James draft. Blake Griffin is just 10 steps ahead of any player in this draft based on college production and potential. Its like Karl Malone with amazing springs. He should be an all-star for years to come, even though he will get drafted by Clippers. He is not only an athelete but he has already developed low post moves and once he develops a mid range game than the sky is the limit for Blake.

Memphis Grizzlies-2nd Overall-PG-Ricky Rubio 18 years old; 6'4"; 180 lbs

I beleive Grizzlies will use this draft pick to pick Rubio and than trade him or this pick will be traded on draft night. Rubio has made it known he doesnt want to play at Memphis and who can blame him ? The kid still has to pay to play in NBA and if he is going to do that he might go to a team that will guarantee him more marketability after all he wont be making much. I expect this pick to be traded to either Kings or Warriors. If i am Warriors i package a deal that includes Andries Biedrins,7th Overall and Next Years 1st round pick to get Rubio, Nelson would love him. But for now this pick is unknown but Rubio is too good to pass for Hasheem.

Oklohoma Thunders-3rd Overall-C-Hasheem Thabeet 22 years old; 7'3"; 265 lbs.

Excited !the first player ever drafted from my home land country. And what a first player we are producing. A 7'3 atheletic freak who can run up and down the court like no other Centers. This is probably another no brainer here for the Thunders. We have a player who Calhoun called "One of the best defensive Centers to play college basketball". Westbrook and Durrant offense and Jeff Greens hustle and winning attitude will be parfect if they bring in Hasheem Thabeet's defense. He wont be a great scorer but he has Mutombo's type of ability. With Hasheem as their big man than this is a complete team that will be highly competitive in a year or two. Other than his defense, Hasheem is developing at a high speed and is showing alot of good things other potential center's never showed in the past. And he has a good form on his shot, Outside of Griffin, Hasheem Thabeet has the most potential in this draft when it comes to front court players.

Sacramento Kings-4th Overall-PF-Jordan Hill 21 years old; 6'10"; 235 lbs.

If they cant complete the Rubio trade than i can see Kings picking the best big man available. Jordan has that potential to be a good player on a good team. He doesnt have superstar potential but i can see him being a good player who will contribute offensively, rebounds and some shot blocking ability. He is a great athelete and should benefit Kings front court.

Washington Wizards-5th Overall-SG-James Harden 19 years old; 6'5"; 218 lbs.

If they dont trade this pick than Harden makes alot of sense for them. A pure SG, and Young seems like he wont be able to fill that position. Harden is probably the most talented player in this draft when it comes to skills. He will be able to contribute on his first day. He reminds me of Brandon Roy when Brandon Roy was in the draft. Like Roy people will say he is not atheletic but like Brandon Roy, James Harden is a baller and a back-court of Arenas and Harden should do some big time damage in EAST.

Minnesota Timberwolves-6th OVerall-SG/PG-Tyreke Evans 19 years old; 6'5"; 195 lbs.

One of those guys that you know he is talented and has plenty of potential but still not sure about him.To me is overlooked, he reminds me of D-Wade, ofcourse he wont be that good but he is a 6'5 shooting guard that has no trouble running the point. Like D-Wade plays bigger than his height due to his wingspan. He measured the same as Blake Griffin when it comes to wingspan. Great handles with the ability to score inside anytime he wants. A good athelete with good speed. He will be parfect for Wolves if they want to play Foye at the shooting guard spot and let Evans run the point and Evans can guard the SG on defense while Foye guards the PG. Evans will be a good pick n roll player with Al Jefferson. Pick n Roll execution is one of his strong points.

Golden States Warriors-7th Overall-PG-Brandon Jennings 19 years old; 6'1"; 170 lbs.

I have a feeling that Warriors might suprise people by grabbing Stephen Curry here. I am not sold on Jennings but i must admit he can be productive if he is placed on the run n gun system like Don Nelsons system. I find it hard to beleive that Nelson will pass up Brandon Jennings since he is the parfect player for his system and he fills their biggest need. Brandon Jenning is an amazing athelete with great PG skills. If Curry doesnt get picked i expect Jennings to be picked here.

New York Knicks-8th Overall-PG-Stephen Curry 21 years old; 6'3"; 185 lbs.

I am sold on this kid, He is just lights out. He really is a pure shooter and developing his passing skills. He is a Gilbert Arenas type of a player and Curry might even be a better shooter than Gilbert. It is no secret that Knicks want him and i think Knick will be making a great pick here. Stephen will post up great offensive stats on D'antoni system on his rookie year. Knicks have their future PG here.

Toronto Raptors-9th Overall-SG/SF-Demar DeRozan 19 years old; 6'7"; 207 lbs.

Potential.Potential.Potential. And this kid has plenty of it. Amazing athelete with all the basketball physical tools to become a superstar in this league. Comparisons to Vince Carter are accurate but can he develop like Vince Carter did or do we have another player with potential that will be a bust? It is hard to tell but for the Toronto Raptors it worth the risk here. Raptors are desperate for a wing player and if they hit a home run with Demar than boy watch out for the Toronto Raptors. If Derozan becomes a bust than Bosh leaves.

Milwaukee Bucks-10th Overall-PF/C-DeJuan Blair 20 years old; 6'7"; 265 lbs.

I find it hard to beleive that Bucks will pass up Dejuan Blair with Skiles as their head coach. A tough minded PF/C who will bring the rebounding, defense, toughness and the hustle that Skiles just loves. With a soft front court Blair should be an excellent addition. He is undersized but he makes it up with his great atheleticism and extremely long hands. He is defently a contributer on the next level but can he avoid being overweight ?

New Jersey Nets-11th Overall-SF/PF-Earl Clark 21 years old; 6'10"; 220 lbs.

With question marks on Yi Jianlian's future, Nets can use Earl Clark. Earl has SF skills and is capable of being a SF on the next level but he is amazingly versatile and can also play the PF spot. He is 6'10 and reminds me of Rashard Lewis and with the succes of Lewis at the PF, i expect more people to follow. Earl Clark is a Top 3 but like Rudy Gay people question his desire for basketball.

Charlotte Bobcats-12th Overall-PG/SG-Jrue Holiday 18 years old; 6'3"; 185 lbs

Word out of Bobcats is they are looking for another Combo Guard to pair with Felton and DJ. Jrue is the parfect pick for them if that is what they are looking for. Jrue was a top 5 high school recruit last year and he dissapointed this year. He was projected to be a Top 10 pick this year, i still beleive in him but i think he needs a year or 2 to fully develop. Great atheleticism, a good scorer with a killer crossover that will break some ankles in the NBA. This is a potential home run pick for the Bobcats here but can Larry Brown develop young talent with potential or will he just beat down Jrue's confidence ?

Indiana Pacers-13th Overall-PG-Jonny Flynn 20 years old; 6'0"; 172 lbs.

Tj Ford is moving again? Dont be suprised if that happens. A fight with Jarret Jack made it clear that this may never work unless Tj Ford agrees to become a bench player and that is something Tj Ford wont do. Johhny is a good pg and will be parfect combination with Jarret Jack, PG with no egos.

Phoenix Suns-14th Overall-SF-Terrence Williams 21 years old; 6'6"; 220 lbs.

After trading Raja Bell for more offense i can see Kerr going for a senior. Terrence Williams will be parfect for Suns because he adds more atheleticism and defense. Jrich is not a defender and if Jrich can focus on offense than that can benefit him and the Suns. He is probably the best athelete in this draft after Blake Griffin.Terrence's weakness will be covered because he cant score and he wont be asked to score in Phoenix. He can come out on nightly basis guarding the opposing teams best perimiter player.

Curry reported a 36 inch vertical leap and benched a 185-pound bar 10 times. Which is a suprise, people didnt expect Curry to be this strong and explisive.

good mock sir! actually one of the better ones that i've seen on ish! with the exception of mines!

i heard rumors that okc is "ENAMORED with BJ mullens! that is such a heaping handfull of ****t!! okc are just saying that for security memphis doesn't grab thabeet at #2, i love how teams work out certain players a multiple amount of times and then winds up drafting someone they never worked out or interviewed, all this hype around workouts and interviews are OVER RATED! i believe teams know exactly who they want especially the lottery teams about two days after the draft selection order is made, with the exception of maybe one or two players that just absolutely wowed at the work outs.

anyways good mock bro!

Why would the Bobcats take Jrue Holiday when they have Raymond Felton AND D.J. Augustine??

It is reported that they are looking for a combo guard to pair up with DJ Augstin who is the pure pg and Felton who is the combo PG. They want another combo guard who can play pg/sg on their backcourt...one that can score. Origionally it was reported they want Stephen Curry but it seems like Curry will be gone by their pick.
