Default 1997 vs 2009

With a bit of modification.

2009
Stockton/Hart/Price
Brewer/Korver
Kirlienko/Harpring/Miles
Malone/Millsap
Okur/Collins/Fes

1997
Williams/Eisley
Hornacek/Shandon Anderson
Russell/Shanson Anderson/Chris Morris
Boozer/Adam Keefe
Ostertag/Antoine Carr/Greg Foster

Time warp swap the 1 and 4 for each team...what is the outcome in 1997 and 2009.

I'll take 2009 thanks...

Okur adds a great deal to that team. Millsap would have to find minutes at small forward.

2009 beat the Lakers this year and have a good chance of making the finals and winning it all.

2009 easy. Shouldn't have swapped PF, make it a bit more interesting to have Stockton with Boozer and Williams with Malone.

I thought as much. I was just thinking how much we would miss our post presence and screens when Boozer leaves, but that we wouldn't miss his D. I watched a few Malone highlight reels and remembered how complete he was on both ends and wished he was here today. I threw in Williams to add the scoring touch to the 97 team.

What about putting a 92 Eaton on the 97 team instead of Tag?

Not defensively. '97 they actually played D.

Malone/Milsap would be their best line-up up front.

Still not enough D and the same coach.

I'd take Tag over Eaton myself. He could actually do something other than hold his arms in the air. He was no Collins though. LMAO!

09, by quite a bit, especially now that it has the best passer of all time, making all the other players better.
