someone said that he had a great story and its hard not to like the kid, i was just curious what his story was and everything, i do not pay much attention whatsoever to the draft other than looking up the top three players and whoever my team is projected to get or does get.

Any info is greatly appreciated

I'll take a stab at it. He was poor,grew up in the ghetto with no father, and one of his siblings or close friends died. If he was a rapper he would have also sold drugs and been shot.
I'm notmicking this kid, I know nothing about him. I'm mocking how the media loves to trot out this story with every athlete. With the rappers it's almost never true, it's just a fabrication by their publicicst.

If you hadn't written this while I was out getting dinner, I probably would have opened this thread and written the same thing. It no longer seems a special story, rather par for the course.
