Default McDyess Is Leaving Too

Quote:
Coveted free agent Antonio McDyess has decided to sign with the San Antonio Spurs, two sources told Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday afternoon. McDyess, 34, will sign a three-year deal that guarantees him $15 million. Yahoo

At least he'll have a chance at winning a championship.

Real good guy, best of luck to him. I think he is the unknown cancer of the league (0 titles, comes to Detroit after their championship season)

i know you're probably kidding, but that just seems unfair. with that logic, you could call any good/great player who never wins a title a cancer...

Somewhat... I think it's just unfair that all this "Iverson is ze cancer" stuff out there when there are other good players that haven't won titles, like dice, who gets no crap for it.

Dice doesn't make a fuss when he is asked to sacrifice for the good of the team Mon!

What does that have anything to do with being a cancer?

AI isnt considered a cancer because he hasnt won a title. its his selfish playing style and poor attitude that have led to that point of view (which i dont really share, but he wont ever win a title). Dude, john stockton was a cancer! He never won a title. Where did you make that logical leap?

There have been some great players who are the exact opposite of a cancer that never won titles. Reggie Miller, John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley (all original dream teamers by the way). AI does not make that list. He is a liability on a team. If he was so great our team wouldn't have had a losing record last season and there wouldn't have been any controversy. It's amazing how Denver loses their best center (Camby) and makes that one change and all of the sudden they are contenders. The great player is Billups, not AI. Billups makes teams better. AI makes them worse.
