I just don't like Arenas that much, thats all. The original poster of this thread didn't include Arenas either so why u gotta call me out? I don't like Duncan much either, but I think he'll be back to his dominant self this year. And I bet if T-Mac stays healthy this year, he'll outplay Arenas. Therefore, a lot of people are overrating Yao because the only way he ends up in the top 10 is if T-Mac misses a lot of time like last season.

You have to put in position for consideration. Arenas is a pg. Thus he is worth more than lets say a person who qualifies only for sg or sf. For me, that is why Yao is there. He is the best fantasy center (arguably) in the league. T-mac is debatable. Other good candidates include Ray Allen, Iverson and Chris Paul.

Well I didn't read all of his list, but I did read of all of yours to answer your question.

As for Arenas, I mean, it's your list, so it's all good, and he's one of my favourite players so I tend to overrate him. But still... I mean, look at the stats.

30 points
6 assists
2 steals
2.5 threes
45 FG%
82 FT%

Hell, he pulls down 3.5 boards per game as well. Duncan is a second round guy at best. To me he's the best player in the league, with his leadership and dominance when he has to, but for fantasy. He might not even be top five for PF's with a healthy Gasol. But whatever, I was just explaining why Gil should be in the top 10.

T-Mac could very easily put up #'s very similar to that this year, just 1 less three & 2-3 extra rebounds.

He could, but it's a little more unlikely considering he has Yao on his team to please. And the injury concern.

Its amazing how none of you have Paul Pierce in top 10

27ppg
7rpg
5apg
1.4 3pg
1.4 spg
0.5 bpg
47%
77%

Who else can do that? He is a very good all-around player..

Last 6 years he has played 79 or more, and 3 82 game seasons...

Who else can do it all like that?

He is basically a Wade...With less assists, and steals, but more 3s and less TOs, with less injury...
