OT: Maniak and Dirtbags Be the Booker Workshop

This has nothing to do with the Suns, but if you know WWE, then feel free to chime in. We're doing this for another forums thing called Be the Booker, or BTB. Basically what you do is manage WWE, write scripts, and stuff.

Alright DB, so we are doing this with the current WWE rosters and shows, but I think we should cut out ECW to give it a smackdown VS raw storyline...

Alright, so first we need to decide on who the Chairman and manager of the respective shows are.

I dig the smackdown vs raw theme it keeps it simple. I would think we keep McMahon as the chairman of both and maybe have that as a story line where he loses his seat as chairman to one of the shows.. as far as GM's I can think of a few things that jump to mind.. you could Go a HHH route but he would still be an active wrestler and set himself up in matches to retain his gold. having a feud with someone that would eventually lead to a unlikely victory for the face and making it all that more sweet. you could also do something like that with the undertaker and almost have a ministry style thing going on.. I could probably think of a few others but for now I'll list these and let the others formulate in my brain.

I've always been a big fan of NWO or NWO style storylines DX, the nation, nwo hollywood, (**** the) nwo wolfpack, WCW ECW invasion storyline etc.. etc. etc.. I think working a storyline like that would be pretty fun to work with. you could even try something where Vince uses some of the better names from the ECW that are about to be broke up and he could make a bodyguard scenario or nwo or invasion style storyarc to it... not to big on the invasion style but you could make them almost like a mercenary style group..

Alright, we need to decide on a specific year(not 2006, thats overused) that has the talent crop we want.

Eric Bischoff will be the RAW GM and Ric Flair the Smackdown! GM.

WWE is bought out by *insert new commish here(can be a fake made up person)* and has to rename(so we need a name, too.)

Uhhh....the rosters are set up how we will have them set up because the new commish ordered a giant switch in talent.

So pick 40 guys out of that list, and remind me if there is any missing(I never checked) that you might want, then we can work from there.

so if we pick a year, do we only get wrestlers from that year? For instance if we pick 2000 do we get the rock stone cold etc.. or does the year not matter for that?

There's nothing wrong with having a fictional character in a BTB. A fictional wrestler, fictional authority figure, etc., all within the rules.

So we can add a few made up guys...

Yeah, we would get them.

But I think its best to work with a more recent year, because even though we'd be missing out on some other talents, its far easier to do something abit more present.
