Ive viewed Detroit Tigers message boardsm to see what they had to say about the accusatiosn against Kenny Rogers, and the brown spot on his hand, and all the fans seem to say ''the umpires said it was dirt, lets forget about it'' However, he has been caught with th is ''dirt'' in his hand, in the exact same spot, for three games. Coincidently, its just when he starts the best pitching of his life. Im not trying to start an argument with Piston fans, or Tiger fans on this forum, but I just want to hear what you have to say. To think, if he had been using tar, he might have cheated to help eliminate the Yankees, well... Anyways, watch this video, I found it pretty educational about whats going on if youre living in a cave, and didnt hear about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EoeDA8E874
I think he is because they showed him with that same stuff on his hands in th previous series. So I am not gonna say he was cheating cause I heard that stuff gives you a better grip on the ball. And if that helps some pitchers they should allow that so there will be better pitching from everybody.
I hope he isnt cheating, despite the fact that the Tigers knocked out the Yanks, im rooting for them. However, I think he did. How likely is it that Kenny Rogers, who has never been a good post season pitcher all of a sudden pitches gems, and all three games, ''dirt'' has been found on the exact same spot all three games. Not only that, but the catcher usually catches the ball, and hands it to the umpire, so he gets a new ball. If you guys havent noticed, he was throwing the balls that Rogers pitched into the dugout. Is it all a coincidence?
yeah he had pinetar on his hand, but none of the players really care as much as the media. im sure all teams playing in cold whether have pitchers using tar. it usually isnt as obvious as that but it happens a lot.
I'm sure he's been using pine tar his whole career when its cold, I dont think that his recent hot streak is because of that.
