This is now the 3rd night in a row there's been a bat flying around the house and everytime its been right after the sun went down. Anybody know a way to get rid of them? I think it might be the same bat. Everytime it flies out the door, im thinking it goes right back to the same spot (wherever it is) on the house and somehow finds its way in. Is there a way to keep them away without having to walk around the house and climb on the house looking for all the different spots they could be getting in?
quick, to the bat cave!
bats are cool creatures and no, i'm not into that gothic crap. u need to find where it's coming in at...most likely the attic and seal it up with something. try not to kill it because they aren't directly harmful, but remember that they can carry rabies. that's about all u can do unless u just just want to flat out kill it, which i hope u wouldn't. hope that helps.
I had a bat in my house once...it was curled up on the floor and I thought it was a harmful mouse. Then the mouse grew wings so it started to fly around and that is when i played tennis with it. Some may think it is cruel but the damn thing kept squeeking....But your best bet is, check the ridges of your house where the roof comes to contact with the wall. If you have siding, there is a better chance they will be there. Also, as one said, check the attic....sometimes they like to hide out in attics and reproduce there. But just check around...
