Default Outlaw out 3-5 months

http://blog.oregonlive.com/blazers/2...ss_3_to_5.html

Damn, they originally said back mid-January. Not that I think we will miss him as a player, but I wanted him back before the trade deadline. Now we will likely let him expire and the money that comes off our overall salary won't be enough to put us under the cap, so it is essentially worthless. I really wish we traded him when we had a chance.

Anyone agree that we saw the effects of Outlaw missing tonight? (Detriot). Instead of having a pretty solid scoring option out with the second unit Portland missed a lot of shots, couldn't come out of the double teams and score, and just looked uneasy.

I know a lot of you guys hate on him, but I think if he wasn't injured we would have kept our lead, and not had to resort to Aldridge, Roy, Miller coming back in.

Agrre/Disagree?

His ability to score was definitely missed. However, that (for me) has never been the source of the problem. Passing, rebounding, defense ... sorely missing from his game.

Those last 2 games were bad, but I don't think throwing Outlaw out there suddenly turns this team around.
