Its Florida State? Recruits won't be a problem. It also helps that Florida has the largest pool of high school football talent in America. I think it also helps now that Jimbo is the head coach, potential recruits won't have to worry about when Bowden will retire.
I recognize Bowden is one of the best coaches of all time. But recruiting will not take a hit. Hell, it can only go up from where it is. Florida State is getting Miami's and Florida's leftovers. No way it gets worse.

That is some good ass leftovers if you ask me. I might be way off, but I see some Primetime back in Tallahassee.
Was Deion Sanders the best player you ever coached?
Bowden: I think he’s the best athlete I ever coached, but you throw in Charlie Ward and Warrick Dunn and Derrick Brooks and they played great too. But I definitely think Deion is the best athlete we’ve ever had.
The other offer was a "reduced" coaching role? It seems like it was already reduced, was it not? A man his age can't take that kind of day in/day out grind, putting together 15-18 hour days and what not. He didn't even wear a headset on the sidelines.
I like coaches like Bowden. They will tell you like it is, and they are funny and interesting guys. Don't have many guys like that anymore, as most of these guys closely toe the company line and have one eye out for that next big job opportunity out there.
