To me, it's not even close, it's Walters by light years...just wondering what you guys think when you see his video and if it changes your ideas of what it means to be athletic.

Let's see him dunk on someone. lol. This is kind of an odd thread... I could post a video of some 13 year old chinese chic doing gymnastics... would she be more athletic than Bron?

I'm sorry but it's funny, and I know it's not your intention, but I keep imagining this guy trying to guard LeBron. lol...

Of course Lebron is more suited athletically for basketball and Walters for acrobats..but when mentioning the best athletes in the world, Lebron gets mentioned a lot, rarely are acrobats mentioned.

But which to you is more awe inspiring? Which athlete makes you go wow..how can a human do that? To me , its Walters.

I disagree because although I am slightly inflexible, I have a pretty good 'athletic build' and I believe through work I could come much closer to what he is doing than what LeBron does.

Can't teach height or raw athleticism. And you're not gonna find many 6'9 people that can do what Bron does. Compared to his 6'9 peers his athleticism blows that dude out of the water. Do we have people to compare this guy to? What are his peers doing?

I know this isn't really part of the topic but Bryan Clay is the world's greatest athlete. Besides all his Olympic stuff, look at what he can do sports wise:

Has the best Nike SPARQ recordings in Football.
Highest no step vertical jump in NBA/NFL Combine history.
Ran faster than Jaccoby Ellsbury in the 30 on grass which he's not used to.
Had the same SPARQ recordings as Derrick Rose and Brandon Wright in BBall.

Dudes a freak. Shame he was injured for most of last year.

Who do you consider his peers? Everyone else who is 5'11? Or other acrobats? But I get your point, there may be other acrobats who are as good as he.. I don't know..

However, when it comes to speed, quickness, agility, jumping..and a certain type of strength..Walters blows Bron away...

Has this guy even been to the Olympics or any other big sports event?
His videos are really spectacular but I guess a lot of Olympics medallists could make some too. I mean, if he was that good, he would have been known by his success in sports, not by youtube videos, right?

Yea I'd say all 5'11 acrobats would be his peers...

I'm saying it's impressive, but an odd comparison and it might not be doing Bron justice...

What was his vert?

So how would you compare Brian Clay vs. Brock Lesnar or Walters?

Brian Clay cannot compare agility and body control wise to Walters not even close, and get can't either compared to MMA fighters (and what about the ability to take punishment?)

I have to say MMA is the sport that takes the most all around athleticism.

43.5 inches
1 step was 42.5

4.3 40

dude won the decathlon by the largest margin of victory since 1972 in last year's olympics. he's the best athlete in the world hands down.

Your gymnast can do more flips and stuff, nice. Clay is stronger, runs faster and longer, jumps higher and longer and one of the top athletes ever recorded at Nike SPARQ which has tested tens of thousands of high school/college stars and pro.

MMA? Brock is bigger, maybe stronger and can take a punch. Everywhere else, Clay destroys him. And lol at MMA requiring the most athleticism. If you can last for 10 minutes, have technique and are strong your golden.

You see the guy who won the Ultimate Fighter? The dude was a cow!

Overall, Clay is the most well-rounded athlete in the world. No one has his combination of speed, strength, agility and endurance. I think his medal speaks for himself.
