Default 2009 WR Dropped Passes

For 2009, these were the receivers who dropped the largest percentage of balls thrown their way.

1. Mark Bradley, KC
2. James Jones, GB
3. Ted Ginn, MIA
4. Bobby Wade, KC
5. Justin Gage, TEN
6. Roy Williams, DAL
7. Louis Murphy, OAK
8. Bryant Johnson, DET
9. Dwayne Bowe, KC
10. Jacoby Jones, HOU

and the top 10 in the league with the lowest drop %, minimum 30 catches...

1. Greg Camarillo, MIA, 50
2. Robert Meachem, NO, 45
3. Jason Avant, PHI, 41

4. Kevin Walter, 53
5. Mike Thomas, 48
6. David Anderson, 38
7. Eddie Royal, 37
8. Chris Chambers, 36
9. Vincent Jackson, SD, 68
10. Reggie Wayne, IND, 100

^the ones in bold had 0 dropped passes this year. I guess that's where part of Matt Cassel's 55% completion percentage comes from.

Man look at Reggie Wayne up there. 100 catches and Top 10 in % as well. Dude's a beast, shame he choked in the Super Bowl.

And I can't believe no Bucs are in the Top 10. They were quite terrible last year.

Antonio Bryant and Michael Clayton are up there when it comes to total drops, I'm pretty sure. I saw a list somewhere at the end of this past season where both were in the top 10 of something when it came to dropped passes.

Considering the some of the catches that Vincent Jackson made last year, that number is pretty impressive. He just needs to cut out the boozing, and heŽll be a perennial pro bowler.

Wow either KC receiver's are garbage or Matt Cassell just can't throw it very accurately.

Avant is definitely one of those under-the-radar excellent targets. I've been a fan of him dating back to early in his Michigan days. He is the anti-Braylon. Not gonna get you the huge home runs on a consistent basis, but you better believe that, if the ball is anywhere near him, he is likely to come down with it.

Solid, consistent.
