Default How did your favorite college team fare in the draft?

Tennessee had 6 players drafted

Eric Berry #5 and Dan Williams #26 in the first round

and Hardesty, McClendon, Scott and Crompton were drafted

and 4 other players were picked up as FAs.

1st Round (3): Tebow, Pouncey, Haden
2nd Round (3): Cunningham, Dunlap, Spikes
3rd Round (1): Wright
4th Round (1): Hernandez
5th Round (1): Cooper

And 3 guys signed via UDFA. I would say Florida did 2nd best next to Okie.

yeah never heard that nickname before...

I can only assume it is referencing a silverback gorilla...like he is a gorilla on the feild...

Trent would come up maybe once or twice a game form announcers...o-linemen are the silent stars...so I never recall hearing that nickname...

Mike Neal went in the 2nd round to Green Bay. Not sure he's a great fit as a 3-4 end, guess we'll see. He was the only Purdue guy to get drafted, wouldn't be surprised at all to see David Pender get a camp invite and make a roster.

E.J. Wilson went in the 4th round to the Seahawks, and Cam Thomas went in the 5th round to the Chargers. I was a little surprised Wilson got drafted.

UNC players could make a pretty big splash in next year's draft. Our defense is going to be stacked this year. If we had a consistent QB and a reliable offense we'd be a top 10 team a sleeper national championship contender in 2010.

I can't believe Crompton got drafted he is not a good QB just terrible he did get a bit better as the season went on but he is still hot garbage.

They drafted him basically off his talent and what he did at workout and combines.

Thats how insanely good he is.

I'm really disappointed in how he was brought up here.

I would be embarrassed if I were you, this just makes Oklahoma look like the biggest underachieving team in college football history.

Two of those four first rounders were hurt all year long. It's not OU's fault that they didn't have their Heisman Trophy QB and his biggest target to throw too. How many teams do you think would win a natioanl champoinoship with their back-up QB and other key injuries?

you're an idiot...I feel embarrassed for your post...

not only were two of those players injured but one of them was the QB and not only that, but football is a team sport, you need more than 4 good players to win, if you even played football at a pee-wee level you would understand this...
