Default Antoine Wright might turn out good

I liked what I saw from Wright last season in the select minutes he played. The dude was barely on the court, but he's defintiely athletic, and moves properly and in a manner that shows he understands basketball. Don't know too much else, yet

He has the ability to keep pace with an offensive player and can lockdown a player at times, but he has to work on his offensive skills. As of now all he can really do is catch and shoot, he has to work on moving with the ball.

He can jump in the air and make multiple adjustments before landing. He's also a terrific finisher on the break, the 10 or 12 times he actually got to finish a break last season

it's a shame Wright wont get any consistent PT until Carter or RJ get injured or decide to take a break.

Ive said it before, if can turn out to be as good as Jefferson was his rookie year this season off the bench, that would make last years pick worth it. Then I'd eventually expect him to evolve into at least a solid starting SG.

If he can evolve into a great bench player, and the team's top 6th man, it would be a success

Anything more would be a bonus

He's a scorer, you can tell. He has good body control, a solid form on his jumpshot. His athleticism is good and he plays solid defense, though he picks up ticky-tack fouls. Personally, I like him. I just hope he gets better minutes. Frank took him out everytime he did something bad, so it only builds pressure on him.

I think hed be better off being like RJ was. At first just playing touch defence and taking it to the whole, not worrying about his jumper. Then after a couple years then you work on it and make it good. But you never rely on it do get you your points rely on taking it to the hoop.

His jumper is a lot better than RJ's was coming into the league. I saw a few games of his at Texas, he was just a terrific scorer and spot up shooter. Thing is, he's very streaky. So it's on and off, more on than not.. He has a good jumper, it's just that he's only given a few shots a game and plays inconsistent minutes. I know how that tough that is, where coaches expect you to be on the minute you step onto the floor whereas in college you were able to work yourself into the game.
