STATS reports: San Antonio returned home Thursday trailing the Suns 2-0—the most commanding lead Phoenix has built in a decade of postseason misery against the Spurs. The Suns have lost four consecutive playoff series to San Antonio since 2003, and Steve Nash has never gotten past the four-time NBA champions in six tries in his career
spurs need to get violent. i predict huge spurs effort. on the other hand, seeing the way in which phoenix won by destroying the spurs on the glass and they barely shot over 40% that has to be deeply depressing for spurs fans. the suns arnet even a great rebounding team but the spurs have nothing in the frontcourt to play alongside duncan. its sad because they have plenty of pieces they just dont have another frontcourt player to go alongside duncan.
mcdyess is really the guy that has to step up, he has to give them something inside, he is the only one that has even remotely enough size and strength to board and play good d on amare. he will be the difference imo.
