Default Stoudemire Says Cavs Would Have Won It All With Him In Their Lineup

Berger: how far do you think cleveland would have gone if you had been traded there?

Stoudemire: Championship

Stoudemire reportedly was close to coming to Cleveland, but the Cavs were unable to finish a deal with Phoenix. They acquired Antawn Jamison instead.

Personally, I think he should just focus on the Lakers, because Pau Gasol is going to own him hard tonight.

I don't know about championship. But they would've definitely been better off, there's no doubt about that. In fact, I'd say they would've been better off if they never traded for Jamison and just stood pat if that was their only other option. Of course its easy to say that now, but thats what I think.

Shoulda gone with Murphy. Contract makes a lot more sense for a potential rebuild, and while in general he's a ****ing joke on defense for some reason he gives KG some trouble. More than Jamison gave him anyway. You're right, hindsight's 20/20 and all, but still.

That's the downside of playing with someone like Steve Nash; gives you the impression that you'd actually play better without him...

They would get to the Finals. Then lose to the Lakers.

Anyone who believes Amare is a by product of Nash has ZERO clue.

Sorry bud but APBRmetrics doesn't lie...Just look at the stats of anyone who has played with Nash before and after.

Once again Charlie Z put the knockout to internet fools. His internet boxing record is now 85 - 0. With expert techniques such as "f@gg!t" and "STFU ill fck u up mothef@cker", it's no wonder Charlie is the e-boxing champion.

You mean when he averaged 21/9 as a second year player without Nash? I do agree that Nash might make him look better then he is, but he's definitely not just a product of Nash. And either way, he would've been playing with Lebron, who would probably make Amare look better just like Nash has.

Co-sign. Just look at Amare out there when Nash is on the bench, or him, as guy noted, averaging 21/9 at 21 years old without Nash. It is true Nash makes Amare look better but to an extent Amare helps Nash. Amare arguably is the best offensive big man in the league. That kind of helps a PG.

Amare 15/3
Gasol 8/2
