Clippers Projected Starters

| | | |
Sam Cassell | Cuttino Mobley | Quinton Ross | Elton Brand | Chris Kaman

Key Reserves
Shaun Livingston | Corey Maggette | Tim Thomas

Jazz Projected Starters

| | | |
Deron Williams | CJ Miles | Andrei Kirilenko | Carlos Boozer | Mehmet Okur

Jazz Key Reserves
Derek Fisher | Paul Millsap | Jarron Collins

Q's Quote:
"Clippers go on the road for the first time since the season opener and play the red hot Utah Jazz, who are also 5-1. Elton Brand finally woke up last game after his slow start and it will be interesting to see if he can keep it up against a very strong Utah Jazz front court. Quinton Ross might not start since the Jazz really have no wing players that need to be shut down that Maggette and Mobley can't handle, but will Dunleavy take the chance and start Maggette with relying on Thomas and Livingston to bring the offense off the bench. On top of that, the Clippers have lost about 32 out of 33 at Utah"

Q's Prediciton: Jazz win 89-84
Q's Prediction Record: 5-1

Better not let Deron Williams hit a buzzer beater again!

kirilenko wont play in that game because he has a sprained ankle. Matt Harpring will probably start in his place.

Thumbs up Clips will win a close one

The Clip D has been outstanding and look for Q Ross and Shaun Livingston
to keep Deron Williams in check. The starting lineup will remain the
same with Cat Mobley on Harpring and Tim Thomas coming off
the bench to guard him. Q Ross has quietly and consistently
been the best Clipper in the early season with his D and contribution
on the offensive end with timely jumpers and offensive boards.
The matchup between Brand and Boozer will be interesting.

Clips have won only 1 of their last 28 games at the Delta Center
and look for that to be motivation for a close victory.

The Jazz bench will be thin with Ak47 and Gorden Giricek injured
and the depth of Clip bench will be the difference especially
in defending Deron Williams and Matt Harpring. Offensively
Corey Maggette will be difference maker down the stretch
with his FTs.

Prediction: Clips 90 Jazz 87

Clippers have to make sure they try to keep Okur from getting open outside shots.

Okur has developed as a threat everywhere on the court.

He's the main reason why Utah also beat the pistons twice last year when pistons were 64-18

I say put Mobley on Okur and give Kaman limited minutes, he doesn't seem to be himself yet. We saw how good Mobley guarded Dirk and pretty much shut his perimiter game down. Once Okur starts to go into the post, Mobley's weakside will be protected by Brand and we know how much of a beast Brand is on the defensive end, be it on the weakside or strongside

Okur killed us tonight, he always outplays Kaman. Kaman's just not use to defending on the outside and he killed him on the inside. Kaman and Livingston played horrible tonight. I hated the line up Dunleavy started for the fourth quarter. I thought the line up should have been Sam, Mobley, Ross, TT or Maggette and Brand.

that game really did shock me

Im scared now when LAL comes to face them

they might be most improved right next to NOK. Chris Kaman should have done better and that coulda been why yall lost.

Exclamation Clips just dont play well at Delta Center

4th Quarter meltdown and give credit to the Jazz. They
are an improved team. They drafted well. I was impressed
by their rookies Ronnie Brewer and Milisap.
