The bad thing is that people that had nothing to do with it end up getting punished.

Indeed, it's always a bummer in hoops too. I know it doesn't satisfy the public demand for immediate punishment (on a four year old charge in this case) but I've always thought any sort of sanctions a program receives shouldn't go into effect for four years, not until all current players are gone. All potential recruits would have full knowledge of the situation.

Bush might lose his Heisman...according to ESPN

however they made it clear that it wouldn't be given to another player (Young)

I think they could lose their title too...

I'd sit here and say that I feel sorry for Lane Kiffin, but........it's Lane Kiffin. He was there for all this.

The guilty are now rich and well off in other locales, and this is a blip on the radar for them. Real tough deal for the current personnel. They have to be livid, and how the hell do you get motivated for anything besides personal glory? Hell, there's no bowl game to get motivated fo......

USC should lose its 04 season(13 wins, and the NC) and Bush should lose his Heisman. 2 year postseason ban and loss of 30 scholarships doesn't really do anything, it just screws USC for the actions of people who have left the program already. I also read that players who have their eligibility run out during the postseason ban will be able to transfer without penalty.
