Default 2K10 - Heat vs. Lakers best of 7

So, I got bored, downloaded an updated roster file, and simmed a best of 7 between the Lakers and Heat.

I put it on 12 minute quarters so some of the scores are pretty high. I gave LAL home court advantage, and used the 2-2-1-1-1 format.

They should fix the simulation stats, It's like the top 10 scorers shoot 55% and Wade averages around 3 blocks a game..

It's not that big of a deal, but I wouldn't mind if they fix that up..

Yeah, Artest is the only one of those 7 guys to shoot under 50%. I've never simulated a season in which Kobe didn't shoot 50%+, even though in real ilfe he's never reached that number.

You should download Bizcanos sliders and then sim this again. Or any other great slider set.

Do the sliders have any effect when you're simming, though?

Well, I have a PS3, but if you have an XBox it probably isn't much different.

Go to features on the main menu and then select 2K Share and it'll take you to the "market" so to speak if you're connected to the internet. The rosters section should be the first list that pops up. Just press R2 or L2 to shuffle through the rosters organized by "newest", "most recent", and "top rated", until you find one you want.

so if I do this, I will be able to play my Lakers WITH new additions (Barnes, Blake, etc..)
and the Heat will have LB & Bosh ?? ? ?
if this is true that is badass and I will also be bummed that I never knew this . .

Yes. On the Playstation Network, there are several roster files guys have uploaded in the last couple of weeks that have all of the FA signings/trades that have happened over the summer.

Barnes on the Lakers, Bosh and James on the Heat, Al Jefferson on the Jazz, Ariza on the Hornets, Boozer on the Bulls, Amare on the Knicks, etc. The one I downloaded has all of the updated transactions AND all of the 2010 draft class on their correct teams.

No problem and thanks. I plan on getting 2K11 as well, but having these rosters makes 2K10 much more enjoyable until October when it comes out.

I was on yesterday and was trying to do it and couldn't.
saw GoBB on-line and hit him up and he helped me.
I got the new Lakers and then he told me that you can't really use that team when playing on-line on live.
I was kinda bummed, but no big deal 2K11 is out soon.

Instead we hooked up with Glidedrxlr22 and played a team-up pick up game.
That was pretty fun. I have had this game all year but had not really tried that yet.

So now we are trying to find 10 players to play 5 on 5 private match.
(see the other thread and sign in so we can all click up)

Yeah, I guess I could have mentioned you can't play online with those rosters. It just gives me a new angle to play with against the computer when I'm bored.

Wish I still had my 360 so I could play with y'all. I've been wanting to do a 5 v 5 game online since I've had 2K10 but didn't really know anyone else with a PS3.

you could do a pick up game with random people.
that's basically what we were doing last night.
But we did have 3 people in our party so it wasn't completely random.
