Default Why is it impossible to find Team Salary Cap figures on the internet?

It seems like the most updated salary cap figures I can find would be on the damn Madden video game... (Can anybody find that on the internet?)

But seriously... why is the payroll for each team basically impossible to find on the internet? You would think that information would be easy to find.

For example: What is Aaron Rodger's base salary this year? What about Miles Austin?

This $hit should be easy to find on the web... but yet for some reason it's not.

Help please?

My guess is the contracts arent guranteed just the bonus. And there are bonuses players can earn during the season. So trying to keep track of all of that not only in the upcoming season but beyond is a lil difficult and maybe pointless to an extent. You can find player salaries from last season. And you can find player salaries this season (rotoworld.com) but bonuses arent included.

even then.... why can't those incentives and bonus details be found on the web? I know T.O. could make an extra $2mil in bonuses this year, but what are the details of those bonuses? What does he have to do make this money? (is that private or something?)

And with that said... why can't the max amount of money made in bonuses be listed for each player?

okay... I see.

here is a decent example:

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pla...rt=NFL&id=5118

Shonn Green - RB for the Jets

6/15/2009: Signed a four-year, $2.655 million contract. The deal included a $905,000 signing bonus. An escalator is available in the final year. 2010: $395,000, 2011: $480,000, 2012: $565,000, 2013: Free Agent

See at age 25, this contracts sucks for a starting Running Back in the NFL.
