Default I have serious doubts that the Cowboys will make he playoffs

This schedule is going to be brutal.

10-6 is really the best we can hope for.

Hopefully Favre retires... The Eagles and Giants are both horrible this year...

and we don' screw up any easy games... meaning we have to beat the Lions, Cardinals, Bears, Titans, and Jags.

The opening game against Washington scares the living hell out of me... we lose that game and I have very little hope for the season.

We play the Super Bowl teams from last year back to back... we cannot afford to go 0-2.

We have to go 4-2 in the division.

and with all that said... we need to stay healthy, which we are not doing a good job of right now.

Sensabaugh is out 3-4 weeks though...

Quote:
An MRI on Sunday showed that Dallas Cowboys starting strong safety Gerald Sensabaugh suffered a subluxation in his left shoulder. He is expected to be sidelined three to four weeks, which could force him to miss the regular-season opener at the Washington Redskins on Sept. 12.

we are gonna be SOOO weak at saftey on week 1...

that might be our only loss...lol

I could see 11-5 and no Giants are not horrible this year.

Here is what I think will happen with the schedule I see you posted.

Redskins - Win
Bears - Win
Texans - Win
Titans - Win
Vikings - Lose
Giants - Win
Jaguars - Win
Packers - Lose
Giants - Lose
Lions - Win
Saints - Lose
Colts - Lose
Eagles - Win
Redskins - Win
Cardinals - Win
Eagles - Win

I see them going 11-5 with that schedule. Of course these things change in a heartbeat. With injuries, drama, chemistry issues, etc. So I don't know, but that is the way I see things with that schedule.

They will make the playoffs dude, have faith in your team. Some of those intimidating teams will drop off, not all of them can retain the kind of results they had last year. I don't think Dallas will drop off personally. They'll win 10-11 games if all goes well..

You gotta be the only Cowboys fan that hasn't already made arrangements for Super Bowl tickets. I live in Texas and everyone I know is planning on the Cowboys being in the SB this year.

I don't have faith that we will win it all, personally Green Bay scares me alot...

if we have to go to cold ass Green Bay in the post season I don't like our chances...

this thread I think is Doom's reaction to Dallas looking AWFUL in the preseason so far...

it does have me a bit worried too...no one seems to be on the same page at all...

Are you from Tampa originally, or are you just one of those guys who picked a random team to be your fav just to go against the grain? (like a Texans fan I know here in Ohio lol)

Not to get off topic, but I have some family from Tampa. I've never lived there but I LOVE the area and almost everything about Tampa/St Pete.

I didnt just randomly pick them as my favorite team. I just sort of gravitated towards the Bucs when I was coming into my own as far as totally understanding and appreciating football. I really got into them in '94 when they were still sportin the creamsicles. I got an old Dilfer jersey that won't fit anymore lol. And I got an old Fred McGriff Devil Rays shirt from when their colors were purple and yellow. I've been a Tampa fan since I was a kid.

Everyone thinks I just became a fan of the Bucs when they won the Super Bowl, but everyone who knows me knows that's not true. The day after the Bucs won the Super Bowl, everyone at school was high fiving me and congratulating me b/c everyone knew I had been a Bucs fan forever and I always took crap for it lol.

The Texans look much better than us.

I'm gonna go ahead and chalk up a loss for week 3.

Hopefully we can beat the Redskins and the Bears and start off 2-1 before the BYE.

Your biggest concern should be your O-line. As a Redskins fan, I can see you all having the same problems we have had in previous years. Old, aging, often injured starters with unknown backups behind them. I still expect you all to make the playoffs but you never know. Anyway, I can say you will lose the 1st game .

Well you are a loyal and great fan of the team. Not a bad reason to be a fan of the team. Show a picture of the old Fred Mcfriff and Trent Differ jerseys.

That's a BRUTAL road schedule, Skins, Texans, Vikings, Packers, Giants, Colts, Cardinals, Eagles. The Cardinals are the only one I'd be surprised to see them lose.
