there has been so many people who have been asking why did we ever draft Aldrige? He won't ever get playing time and we should have gone after Morrison. Well if you are a blazer fan and have been living under a rock for the past few games Aldrige is killing. Granted he isn't scoring like 20 points and grabbing 10 boards, but he is doing damn good for a rookie and for him to be one of the last scoring options. I just can't wait till Roy gets back and we can see what this team is all about.

I've been very impressed with Aldridges play especially without even participating in summer league and camp. I cant wait to see him towards teh end of the season hopefully he keeps up the good hard work and doesnt get injured!

With the emergance of Aldridge, I could see the Blazers moving Zach during the offseason for maybe a 2nd round draft pick or a late first rounder and starting Aldridge and Roy next season

Aldridge's game will be showin in the future.. Every good player doesn't play well their first year i.e Andrew Bynum.

Aldridge is doing about what KG, Duncan & other big name PFs averaged their first season

Zach has zero defence and can't jump which hurts the Blazers

Aldridge can do what Zach does on the offensive end, not all the bag of tricks Zach has but he can hold his own with his sweet turn around...but he can also block shots and rebound on both sides...plus he won't play games where the majority of his shots come from 15+ feet out when he can't shoot em.

Joel & Aldridge >> Joel & Zach

i still think it was a great move to get maglore because now we are going to free up some cap room and aldrige will get some serious minutes, because we all know laferantze aint getting any playing time.
