Default Simple question: 2 weeks in, how's your quarterback looking?

It's the most scrutinized position in all the game, as they get too much credit/too much blame at times, certainly.

Assess how your team is faring thus far in this category.

I'll add my own input here in a bit.

my team?

the saints. i can't say much about brees until what we see tomorrow night. he looked like the standard brees last week picking apart defenses.

my fantasy qb?

philip rivers. he seems to be utilizing the maximum amounts of whatever he's got.

Cutler is the most impressive QB in the NFC at this moment.

I feel a thousand times more confident in McNabb than I ever was with Campbell. I can't be anything but happy with how McNabb's played so far.

Kyle Orton has been pretty good, statistically speaking. I haven't watched any of the Broncos games this season though. Mainly because I'm not interested with that Retard McDaniels coaching my team. I want him fired ASAP. I've always thought Orton was underrated.

My fantasy QB Matt Schaub tore those Redskins apart though. 497 yards.

Kyle Orton's looked really good. Besides week 1 where he threw that INT when Denver was trying to get back in the game. Today he was great on 3rd down's and converted them at a pretty high rate. Don't know much about football but no complaints with how he's played thus far. Was hitting the deep ball nicely too.

I will add mine:

Carson Palmer looked bad today. Of course, some of that goes to how great the Baltimore defense is, but he just misfired on many throws. Lacking accuracy at the moment, and gets "happy feet" where pressure is applied.

People are getting pretty tired of waiting for him to come around, and maybe he will never get back to the '05 form, but it would be nice for him to at least resemble a top 12-14 NFL QB.

Yea that injury was pretty devastating. He was on an MVP level back then. Cincy was a legit Superbowl contender too. Shouldn't have that much to do with his accuracy but I'm sure it gives him happy feet. I always liked Carson and I like Ocho. Hopefully he can regain a semblance of his form again.

Josh Freeman is doing great !!!

Although its been against two weak teams, he`s looked fantastic, has great poise and presence in the pocket, next week comes his best test of the season against the Steelers defense, but from now its looking great !

Has the Bucs at 2-0 ! Hopefully he can continue shinning !

Forgot to say how great he is evading the pass rush and pick valuable yards by running out of the pocket !

Alex Smith

Eh,hard to tell at this point. Thankfully the Niners are in the worst division in the league and should have a longer leash (if he was on another team this wouldn't be the case.)

So far he's been very inconsistent. His arm strength is worrying and the 49ers team can't seem to find a way to balance the run and the passing game -- mainly because Smith thrives in a spread offense and Gore plays better in a traditional set.

Smith has the tools to be an above average QB in the league, but that's his ceiling IMO. Bleh.....

Cutler has been phenomenal, looking 10x better then he did last season.

49ers should call the Jags or Titans and see how much it would take to get Garrard or Vince Young. While both of them got benched either would be a massive upgrade over Alex Smith. I'd even take a look at Matt Moore from the Panthers.(It's Clausen time in Carolina)
