TJ Lavin in critical condition after BMX bike accident
TJ Lavin has been critically injured in an accident. The MTV host and BMX biker is currently in critical condition in a Nevada hospital.
TJ Lavin in reportedly in a medical educed coma after being badly injured in a BMX biking accident. According to Perez Hilton the host of MTV Real World/ Road Rules "Challenge" shows was injured while attempting a "nac nac."
During the trick Lavin fell shattering his wrist and breaking several ribs. He apparently also hit his head as the New York Post reports TJ is also experiencing brain swelling and is in very serious condition. Although there is a video of the event, it's unclear whether Lavin was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Lavin began his BMX career at the age of 15. Apart from riding bikes, he also loves to build courses for riding. TJ is also a gifted musician, even being featured on the song "Never Gonna Hold Me Down" with Johnny Richter. He began his hosting duties on MTV in 2005, and has since been a staple of the network.
