Collie out for a few weeks with hand surgery
Dallas Clark out indefinitely with a freak injury
Addai's shoulder is f*cked up and he could miss a lot of time
I started a thread on this last night, but it's all good.
Those are some key injuries but Indy should be ok for the most part as long as Manning is under center. He's carried some pretty mediocre teams before. Looks like he'll have to do it again for awhile this year.
They are the Bronocs of the mid-80's to early 90's. The QB has to carry the team or it goes nowhere.
And that's how maybe the GOAT QB get's saddled with the label of choker even though he's been carrying average teams most of his career.
I guess that is John Elway almost to a T. Carried some so-so Bronco teams to the layoffs and Super Bowls, labeled a loser/choker his whole career, finally won a Super Bowl. Wish Manning could win a second one to really get that monkey off this bank.
I purposely made the OP simple and vague because I knew you'd chime in with something exactly like this.
Yep, that's why i don't even mention the Colts here. For instance I could say that Manning is a top 10 all time qb, he'll come in guns blazing like: "Peyton is a TOP 3 QB, SMH".
Well, at least IR'ing Clark opens a roster spot with all these injuries. DT Mookie Johnson had knee surgery yesterday as well, no timetable for return. He's just a rotational lineman but this is getting insane.
If you're wondering for fantasy, Jacob Tamme and Brody Eldridge will probably both see time but don't expect much.
