Matchup to Watch
Charlie Villanueva vs. Boris Diaw: Villanueva's combination of size and inside-outside scoring touch make it rough on Diaw, who isn't the longest of power forwards. Observations
The Pistons are winless and coach John Kuester recently spoke out, saying his players have to start sharing responsibility with the coaches for fixing this mess.
Ben Gordon continues to be a 'tweener; a shooting guard's game in a point guard's body. Rodney Stuckey's size somewhat compensates for that.
Pistons rookie Greg Monroe has a lot of potential. Forwards don't typically pass like that, but that's one advantage of having played in Georgetown's Princeton-style offense.
The Pistons signed one-time All-Star Tracy McGrady, who might never be fully healthy after a severe knee injury. Tap-ins
Bobcats big man (and ex-Piston) Kwame Brown has finally been cleared for contact after missing all the preseason with a sprained left ankle. So he's close to being cleared to play.
Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace sprained his left ankle Wednesday against the New Jersey Nets, but had no significant swelling in the joint Thursday, and should be fine to play tonight.
Pistons guard Richard Hamilton is questionable with a sore right foot. Did you know?
Pistons center Ben Wallace was never drafted, but he's assembled quite a career. He's 100 rebounds from reaching 10,000 career boards and 2,000 career blocks. Only two active players - Shaquille O'Neal and Tim Duncan - have reached those marks.
I can't believe I'm actually excited about getting Kwame back. We can at least use his 6 fouls against Howard tomorrow.
Re: Game 5: Bobcats at Pistons, 11/5/10, 7:30 p.m.
Awesome comeback from 22 down but so very frustrated with all the turn overs. The refs clearly favored Detroit when it came to calling fouls. Not that the two fouls against Jack and the foul against T2 that were ignored by the refs made the difference in the game but if the refs clearly don't respect the Bobcats then how can we expect other teams and fans to respect us? Haven't figured that one out yet. Also haven't figured out what's going on with Matt Carroll. He definitely looked angry tonight.

Do we want Baron Davis? I'm sure he'd fit in with Jack and G-Dub but is he now past his prime and just more injuries waiting to happen? Thoughts, guys?

I'd say go for it, especially if we aren't giving up much. You see deals suggested like Davis for Diop and Livingston. (On ISH, so for what it's worth eh)
It's not like the rest of our squad is getting any younger.

Sure, at the expense of Diop, Carroll, and Najera.
